ABOUT
US

Founded in 2024, Mink Haus is a queer/women-owned bespoke upholstery shop located in North Portland. We are focused on reviving mid century and antique furniture and restoring it for decades to come.
We strive to take any vision, from the most colorful of the avant garde to the most timelessly classic, and make it into a reality you will treasure — everyone deserves a truly unique home on any budget.
From restoring wooden frames to remaking custom cushions, Minkhaus is an in-house workshop that can tackle almost any design quandary.
Mink Haus was founded by Megan Brevig and Trish Boyle, two friends who originally met at the Oregon College of Art and Craft and bonded over a shared love of interesting materials and unusual objects.
Megan, a Portland native, got her start in design at the Krabbesholm Hojskole in Denmark, where she developed a love for classic furniture and a desire to learn how to make it. After attending the Oregon College of Art and Craft, she has spent years in the trades and brings her love of restoration and interior decoration to Mink Haus.
Trish, originally from Madison, Wisconsin, is a graduate of the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design with an MFA from the Oregon College of Art and Craft. With a keen ability for reverse engineering furniture (or just about any craft), they bring their expertise in all things fiber arts and graphic design.
